Vom 7. bis 10. November veranstaltet das Bürgerzentrum Bürgermedien ein Webinar mit mir zum EU-Programm “Lebenslanges Lernen”.

Anfang 2012 sind die Deadlines für Einreichungen von Projekten im EU-Programm „Lebenslanges Lernen“. Dieses EU-Programm bietet zahlreiche Möglichkeiten für kleine wie größere Projekte in unterschiedlichen Programmschienen, die auf die Bereiche Schule, Berufsbildung, Erwachsenenbildung und universitäre Bildung abzielen. Im Webinar werden die Ziele und Bedingungen dieses Förderprogramms und die Möglichkeiten für Bürgermedien anhand von Projektbeispielen erläutert.

NEW: MA in Cultural Production
International and transdisciplinary Master program for developing sustainable cultural projects

MA in Cultural Production is a new program at the University of Salzburg which by focusing on the interconnections between art, culture and media, as well as political, economical and social processes balances innovative cultural theory with practice-oriented methods. It is a 2,5 year postgraduate program which consists of 5 semesters. Each semester has 2 blocked sessions that are held in Salzburg.

The trans-disciplinary curriculum is laid out at the intersections of art practice, cultural and communication studies, and a social science approach to economy. Cluster topics in relation to Space & Location, Vision & Change and Networks & Decentralization allow for specialisation in one of the central fields of cultural production. Depending on personal interests, students will propose their own project ideas, which will be further developed and implemented in their contextual complexity throughout the program course. The MA program also includes a 3-week internship, individual coaching and a Master thesis.

Workshop für zivilgesellschaftliche Organisationen

Wie ist der Antrag richtig einzureichen? Was macht einen guten Antrag aus? Auf welche Punkte ist besonders zu achten? Welche Kosten sind förderfähig und wie erstellt man den Budgetplan? Antworten auf diese und viele weitere Fragen sollen im Workshop für AntragstellerInnen gefunden werden.

Zum Workshop des Europe for Citizens Point Austria sind all jene herzlich eingeladen, die an einem Antrag arbeiten und zur Einreichfrist am 1. Februar 2011 ein Projekt in der Maßnahme „Unterstützung für Initiativen von Organisationen der Zivilgesellschaft“ (Aktion 2, Maßnahme 3) einreichen möchten. Die Teilnahme am Workshop setzt das Vorliegen eines Konzepts für ein „Europa für Bürgerinnen und Bürger“-Projekt und das Studium der Formulare voraus, zumal der Workshop der Klärung konkreter Fragen dient.

Gestern ist im Standard ein guter Beitrag zu den österreichischen Privatstiftungen erschienen.

Insgesamt zeichnen diese Zahlen ein düsteres Bild der privaten Philanthropie in Österreich. In allen Privatstiftungen sind zwar rund 100 Milliarden Euro gebunkert. Für gemeinnützige Zwecke werden aber nur zehn bis 40 Mio. Euro jährlich ausgeschüttet.

Diese niederschwellige Fördermöglichkeit der “European Cultural Foundation” gefällt mir gut. Reisekostenübernahme zur Projektanbahnung, Vernetzung usw.

STEP beyond Travel Grants

“We believe that artists and cultural workers should be able to move easily across national borders to meet peers, exchange views, inspire each other and create new partnerships.
Our travel fund – STEP beyond – stimulates and supports cross-cultural creative projects in the wider European neighbourhood. It encourages artists and cultural workers to explore unfamiliar territories, network with each other, discover different ways of working and, most importantly, collaborate. Since 2003, STEP beyond Travel Grants have supported the movement of hundreds of people across European borders, creating new networks and stimulating new partnerships.
STEP beyond – stands for Supporting Travel for European Projects – and offers grants between 350 Euros and 700 Euros to cover travel costs for travelling throughout Europe. The grants are open to applicants in the first 10 years of a professional career in their relevant field (we prioritise emerging professionals).
